Learning, on the eve of a Rangers/Celtic Scottish Cup clash, that the game would be the first ever Scottish club match to be televised in 3D; and that a former meeting of the ancient foes in 1969 was the first Scottish Cup Final to be broadcast in colour, afforded an opportunity to revel in that glorious Celtic victory.
On a pleasant spring afternoon, an early Billy McNeill header, followed by two more strikes, by Bobby Lennox and the young George Connelly, saw the Hoops on easy street by half time. Celtic 4 Rangers 0 … sweet memories, indeed – ‘Mon the Hoops!!!
