Celtic put up a truly heroic performance today to recover from the set-back of conceding early and losing Fraser Forster just before half time. Thought the sending-off was a bit harsh, by the way … but there you are.

But for a dubious offside call against big Sammy and a rather fortuitous “great save” by the Rangers’ goalie, the Hoops might very well have pinched it in a second half that saw the numbers evened up and Celtic, if not exactly in control, then certainly in the ascendancy.

In the circumstances, a much better result for us than them. Bring on the replay!
